The movement is spearheaded by Ritz Kapadia CEO of Dream Revolution Entertainment, designer C Raj and journalist and publicist Flynn Remedios. Says Ritz Kapadia explaining the concept, “This is not a fashion show. It’s a movement in support of the girl child and was conceptualized by my NGO Havoc.”

Adding to this designer C Raj says, “About ten designers will show case their collections on the 13th of August this year in Mumbai. This is also a platform for aspiring designers and fashion and apparel designing students to come together on one platform and showcase their products and designs.

“A contest for aspiring student designers will be part of the event and an opportunity for other artisans like singers and musicians to perform to a discerning audience of over 3000 selected guests.” Several Bollywood actors and other celebs are expected to attend the event. Well-known fashion designers like C Raj, Shiva and Raymond Fernandez will also conduct a workshop for students at the event.

An exhibition and sale of handicrafts and exquisite designer garments and exclusive hand-made apparel will be also be part of the event.
