India Knit Fair generates Rs. 275 crore business enquires

The just concluded 39th edition of India Knit Fair generated Rs. 275 crore worth of business enquiries from buyers and agents’ visiting the three-day fair, A Shaktivel, chairman of India Knit Fair Association (IKFA) has said.
 
The IKFA is set up jointly by the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) and the Tirupur Exporters’ Association (TEA) to promote knitwear exporters and to maintain international quality standards in knitwear.
 
At the Fair, Winter/Mid-Summer Collection 2015, nearly 50 knitwear exporters from Tirupur, Coimbatore, Gurgaon and other cities displayed their range of apparel for the 2015 season, including menswear, womesnwear and kidswear all age groups.
 
Around 25 buyers and 159 buying houses and agents from countries like Norway, Japan, the UK, UAE, the US, Denmark, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Australia and Hong Kong visited the fair, according to Mr. Shaktivel. (RKS)
