Curated by the History museum’s curator Petra Slinkard, the exhibits will include an array of eclectic apparel designs by the likes of Norman Norell, Adolfo, Gianni Versace and Chanel.
According to WWD, some of the major highlights of the display will be a black chiffon cocktail dress made by James Galanos in 1955, a Karl Lagerfeld single-shouldered minidress for the fashion house Chloé and a long sequin adorned red evening gown from Geoffrey Beene. (PB)
