Sananda Tilottama, a major gorgeous pageant of the country after ten years into continuation is all set to extend its wings.
First preliminary rounds for this year's beauty pageant was held at Guwahati, wherein more than 3,000 applications were received from Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, even Bikaner besides other cities of the region.
Sananda Tilottama besides has a fresh title sponsored by Dabur Vatika Honey and Saffron Soap although last year it was Godrej.
In 2005 the number of sponsors were four now gone up to 10 and includes national players in the fashion and cosmetics sector as Cadilla Everyuth, Westside and VLCC.
A different development is the segment sponsored by food and beverage 'Red Kitchen & Lounge', fitness 'Solace', rest and recreation 'Vedic Village.'
Sponsorship fees have also gone up by 20-25 percent said a source.
The pageant had also included Noyonika Chatterjee to place the 20 finalists who were selected at the finals of the preliminary rounds held in Kolkata on 28 April 2006, during a four-week extended grooming gathering ahead of the Grand Finale to be held on 27 May 2006.
Sananda Tilottama had been attached with numerous thriving names in the glamour world like Bipasha Basu, Koena Mitra and Celina Jaitley.
