Local and international designers continued to weave magic with their latest arrays of Autumn/Winter 2015 collections on the second day of German semi-annual style showcase Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

The Austrian designer, known for her vintage-inspired fashion, Lena Hoschek stayed true to her signature 1960s-inspired fashion. Drawing inspiration from yesteryear’s on-screen diva, Brigitte Bardot, the designer showed floral print adorned full skirts, fitted tops and cute feminine miniskirts.

Another fashion design talent from Austria, Rebekka Ruétz, highlighted an androgynous range based on masculine cuts on a palette of black, off-white and camel hues. The well-known German designer Anja Gockel’s glamorous catwalk presentation included collarless belted green button downs, bright red jackets, long skirts and black loose-fit culottes.

In addition to the high-on-style runway shows, the second day also premiered the Berlin Fashion Salon which displayed creations from 18 German designers and labels including Dawid Tomaszewski, Lala Berlin, Iris von Armin, Augustin Teboul, Dorothee Schumacher and Talbot Runhof. (PB)
