Fashion and Accessories fair held at Oman International Exhibition Centre, was officially inaugurated by Lamiss Al Taie, Member of State Council.
The nine-day shopping exhibition is scheduled to close on May 29.
The season's biggest consumer fair will have more than 300 exhibitors participating from all over the world.
Exotic and beautiful items from various nations will be displayed including, Senegal, with their handicrafts including wood carving, gaming boards, masks and statues, musical instruments and metal works, including copper pendants, bowls and statuettes, pottery, necklace of clay beads and costume jewellery of wood or various seeds.
Turkey's chandeliers and crystal glasses, Vietnam's decoration items and traditional fabric, embroidery and Thailand's costume from, real and artificial plants and flowers, gift items and cosmetics from Korea will be showcased at Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Exhibitors from will display the Latest designs in fashion apparels, leather products, fancy items, gift accessories and bags are to be showcased by India, Pakistan, China, Egypt, Syria.
Furnitures from China, Egypt and Syria will have specially erected pavilion to display their wares.
Al Shaam has organised exhibition for Organising Exhibitions and Festival.
Juma Al Araimi, company's Executive President said that this is the period for wedding season and summer vacations in Sultanate. So all needs of this season will be provided under one roof and companies reputed to participate in such fairs will be selected.
On May 23 only ladies will be permitted in the exhibition to provide privacy for them to enjoy the shopping, Juma said.
