Leather firms to participate in Guangzhou leather fair

Guangzhou leather fair is being held in China from May 28 to June 2.
Leather Sector Business Promotion Council (LSBPC) under Commerce Ministry of Bangladesh is supporting ten leather firms to participate at the international fair.
LSBPC will share 50 percent of stall charges of all the leather firms, informed Ishrat Jahan, Programme Manager, of LSBPC.
Last year in March, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) helped few Bangladesh leather firms participate at the Hong Kong leather fair.
Leather export of Bangladesh during 2004-05 fiscal were worth around US $220 million with footwear reaching $86 million.
