Ho Chi Minh City has hosted an international industrial fair to show Vietnam's industrial sector success and boost trade activities.
Opened from June 6, 2006, the fair closes on June 11.
The fair showcases engineering machinery, auto engines, electric and electronic appliances, chemicals, leather, garment and textile products and environmental treatment technology.
During the fair, three seminars will be organized to promote domestically produced consumption of key industrial products in perspective of international economic integration, to localise Vietnam's mechanical products in direction of sustainable development and to build and develop Vietnamese brands.
The fair is jointly organized by Ministries of Industry, Trade, Posts and Telematics, and Science and Technology.
