“We believe that BIFF&BIL 2006 will be bigger and better than ever with an expectation of over 900 booths and more than 8,000 international trade visitors from Europe, USA, Middle East and, of course, our Asian neighbours”, Mrs. Chantra added.
According to the latest trade information report released by the Office of Export Service, the Department of Export Promotion foresees the Thai garment, textile and leather export industry to be worth US$ 8.8 billion by the end of 2006, representing a 12 percent growth from last year.
The industry export has already generated US$ 2.48 billion during the first four months of this year, reflecting an increase of about 4.17 percent over the same period in 2005. Interested trade companies, which would like to participate in BIFF&BIL 2006.
