Successful first edition of International Garment & Textile Expo (IGTEX) has inspired Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR) to organize its second edition.
GEAR will hold an expo at pink city, Jaipur at Birla Exhibition Centre from July 22 to 23, 2006.
This event aims to provide a platform to Rajasthan's exporters for displaying their products and seal deals for next season, stated G P Mittal, President GEAR to local media.
The expo also includes fashion show to display latest fashion trends, added Mittal.
Expo is expected to generate sales worth Rs.900-950 million this season, and is the reason for the association to plan it as a regular annual event, says Mittal.
Garment industry in the state was witnessing a rapid growth in the past few years, according to the association.
Invitations have been sent to more than 9000 buyers from across the world to participate in this expo, he concluded.
