Brazilian Association of Shoe Manufacturers in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency organized 'Francal', the largest fair of shoes, fashion accessories, components and machinery of Latin America in São Paulo.
The fair expects to receive 3,000 international buyers amongst the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Syria including 30 importers from eight countries.
Focus of the programme was mainly to promote the brand Brazil's footwear abroad.
The participation of importers would increase Brazilian exports in the sector, which had yielded last year US $1.8 billion, an increase in 4 percent in relation to 2004.
