CMRI to hold denim designing contest

A competition for Jeans for Genes Day is being arranged on Friday 4th August 2006 to raise funds and awareness of the Children's Medical Research Institute.

Students of Gordon Institute of TAFE fashion Sarah, Kayler-Thomson, Veronica Prassinos and Sue Patullo had their original and inspired entries in the Jeans for Genes Day National Do It With Denim competition.

They had created entirely from recycled denim and were chosen as state finalists and will be judged at the national finals in Sydney.
