Cairo ITCE gawk at trade explore

At the International Fair Ground, Cairo, Egypt, the 10th International exhibition for textile, embroidery and sewing machinery and accessories, (ITCE'10) will be held between November 8 to 11, 2006.

ITCE Cairo 2006 gathers 480 exhibitors from 31 countries to explore new opportunities in the free trade era and expects 28,000 trade visitors from Egypt and regional Arab & African countries.

It is currently known as the leading international trade event in the MENA region since 1994.

ITCE'10 will exhibit the latest and most innovative textile & apparel machinery, raw material and accessories, and thus covering the entire spectrum of cotton processing operations, including spinning, weaving, converting, dyeing, sewing machines and garment manufacturing.

The show also acts an international hub, facilitating high level networking between key industry experts, which will benefit the entire textile industry in the region.

Textile industry in the Middle East has exports amounting to more than US $ 11 billion, annually accounting for almost 5.5 percent of the global trade.

Egyptian textile industry has been growing at an average rate of over 6.5 percent annually accounting for approximately US $700 million, 14 percent of total exports.
