A modeling contest was held recently for prizes totaling more than US $10,000 designed exclusively for aspiring models to wear a dress size of 14 and onwards, at the Best Western Hotel and Conference Center, 5625 O'Donnell Avenue, New York.
Tamara Richardson-Williams, CEO and founder of Taceri Footwear will provide the contestants with shoes from the Taceri line that offers women to wear sizes 10 to 14 offering the participant an opportunity to wear fashionable shoes at great prices.
Since, she had been using size 12 shoes since 12 years of age, had faced difficulties finding stylish shoes of her size and was searching for a solution.
She started exploring and finally decided to create her own line and Taceri was born.
Tamara started the company about three and a half years ago and later on hearing about the Full Figured and Fabulous Model Competition, she got involved in it.
The models will be doing a 15-minute segment with Taceri shoes at the end of the fashion show.
Tamara recently did a fashion show with Jet Magazine in Indianapolis at the Black Expo and the response was exceptional.
She even gets involved in the designing of the shoes and expects Taceri Footwear gets involved in more fashion shows.
