Joint venture project between Jielin Huaxian Group and Italy Mengte Company is moving along smoothly with the production of 150 thousand tons of acrylic fibre.
This project commenced last year, and is expected to be effective by October 2007.
The first unit will start producing about 10 thousand tons of acrylic fibre by October, this year.
Investment for this project comes upto around RMB1.787 billion.
When completely operational, the acrylic fibre output of Jielin Huaxian Group will reach 300 thousand tons, making it the biggest production area in the world.
This project is considered to be the key factor in the future of Jinlin province chemical fibre industry.
