Sarah Lapinski, 28-year old designer from Detroit has won "Make It Work" Metro Detroit Fashion Design Challenge.
At the end of tough competition, Lapinski, who created cocktail-length dress with a pleated skirt in champagne satin and silver-and-grey chiffon bodice, caught the attention of judges.
Sarah's designs are appreciated as beautiful and intricate thing.
More than 250 people watched the competition, where 10 local designers were competing for the award of US $6,000.
