The Turkish Fashion Fabric Exhibition (TFFE) will be even more relevant and useful from next season for design teams from major retailers, high street suppliers, fashion brands and individual designers.

The event will take place at a new venue, Brompton Hall on the first floor at Earls Court, on a new dateline, Tuesday and Wednesday October 3-4. It was previously held at Olympia in August.

Organiser ITKIB has moved the show so that it closely follows the schedule of the major European fabric fairs, allowing UK-based designers to do their research in Milan and Paris, and then order in London. [Next season's European textile fair calendar is: Tissu Premier Lille (Sept 6-7); Milano Unica (Sept 12-15); Texworld (Sept 18-21); Premiere Vision (Sept 19-22)].

To assist buyers make their final decisions in London, the TFFE will once again feature its well-received trend area devised by the Dutch bureau Studio Commandeur, which will show the latest developments from exhibitors.

As usual, the offer at the TFFE will be split between forward order collections (for autumn 07), as well as short order and fast fashion options for winter 06/07 and spring/summer 07 too. Turkish mills can turn round orders in as little as three weeks.

Marks & Spencer, Next, Debenhams, Miss Selfridge, John Lewis, Principles, River Island, Top Shop and Tesco are among the many retailers that find TFFE essential.

For this, its 9th edition, the TFFE will have around 80 exhibitors, covering a variety of fabric categories. The show will be open from 09.00-18.00 on October 3-4.
