A second-hand store recognized as Lily Pads, receives donations of clothes, books and other items at the Peru shelter, 1320 Menard's Drive, Peru and sells donated clothing, jewelry, knickknacks and other items to benefit the homeless shelter in Peru.
Donations were collected all summer long and the store has been doing great business.
Majority of sales generated during the opening day came from CDs, books, kitchen utensils and jewelry.
The whole community has undeniably come forward to support them.
