On August 16, Thanh Cong Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company is to inaugurate its own Fashion Show named 'Affirming Thanh Cong fashion style' to launch its new fashion brand name of TCM.
The show is organized at Phan Dinh Phung stadium in Ho Chi Minh city, as a part of activities on the occasion of Thanh Cong's 30th Anniversary and receive Independence Award from Vietnamese Government.
To prepare for the show, Thanh Cong engaged French Fashion Designer Henri Hurbert and Musician Fabien Pourgeoif as well as Vietnamese famous fashion models and signers.
Ho Chi Minh city based-Thanh Cong, at present, can annually turn out 6,000 tons of yarn, 16 million square meters of woven fabric, 6,000 tons of knitted fabric, and 14.5 million garments.
Thanh Cong sells 70 percent of its production output to the US, the European Union and Japan.
The US market accounts for 70 percent of the total export quantity while the EU and Japan represent 30 percent.
