Five day fashion show showcasing Arabian sheila and abaya couture is about to start today.
Fashion designers will compete for Swarovski Arabian Creation Award by displaying their creative and trendy collection.
This competition is being sponsored by DSS, Bur Juman Centre, Swarovski, Sayedati, Saks Fifth Avenue and Virgin Megastore.
This collection will feature local abaya designer selected by Swarovski's Middle East Creative Service Center.
The main aim behind this event is to highlight local abaya designers and provide them media exposure.
Winners of the casual and evening catagories will be given Swarovski Arabian Design Award and will be sponsored with Swarovski crystal components.
Fashion designers will get better knowledge of fashion industry and advance technology. Moreover, they will be able to make proper usage of crystal components in fabric.
