The Eighth Garment Fair was recently organized by the Garment Manufacturers and Wholesalers Association (GMWA) at Hyderabad.
Although, Hyderabad is identified as an IT hub but gradually it is now turning into a fashion centre.
Delegates from the State, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, participated in the two-day `business-to-business' fair, which went up by 20 percent compared to last year while business worth Rs25 crores was done.
Product lines, covering ranges in cotton and blends, woven and knits, treatments and finishes, prints and patterns, lines and embroideries and applique works were displayed.
