A six-week session was organized by a consultant from the Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO) for providing assistance to local garment manufacturers on sewing production teamwork notion for productivity enhancement.
The Garment Manufacturers Association of Negros Occidental worked in coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Office and the Negros Occidental Provincial Government.
After the modular cluster production concept was implemented, the output of the high-speed sewers amplified from 15 percent to 82 percent of their standard quota and there was also improvement in the working attitude of the sewers that helped them to work together easier.
