Footwear companies to partake in MIDEC shoe exhibition

Six major Moroccan shoe exporting companies will participate in the 39th MIDEC International Shoe Exhibition starting from September 2 to 4 in Paris, according to a message from representative of Moroccan Center for Exports Promotion (CMPE).

These companies will showcase wide range of high-quality and chic products compatible with French market.

More than 550 French as well as foreign companies will participate in the exhibition, and they are divided into villages for specification of offer, brands and products.

In 2005, Morocco exported shoes worth MAD1.67 billion to France (40 percent), Spain (31 percent) Germany (13 percent) and Italy (9 percent).

Morocco has been taking part in MIDEC since 1995 twice a year.

MIDEC is the only international footwear show which provides platform to all the categories of shoe and accessories.
