Leading fashion artist Puja Arya revealed her theme and views about her designs and the event.
Her couture, 'Summer Wine' reflects the spring mood emphasizing romance and passionate moods of life with shades of pink, crimson, fawns and yellow.
Arya's range is inspired from the Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood song 'Strawberries, Cherries and an Angel Kiss of Spring', yet, inscribes culture and Indianness through block-printing techniques including bandhini and lahariya.
These attractive outfits combine long and short sleeve skirts, exquisite saris and tops with trendy accessories like bags and scarves.
She believes that use of chiffon, georgette and cotton fabrics in her clothes assures ease while being fashionable and elegant.
