Fashion designer Araiya will present the collection for Spring/Summer 2007 at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
Arshiya Fakih Eappen's Araiya collection for Spring/Summer 2007 is for the young at heart who want colour, glamour and glitter for formal wear.
Dividing the presentation into seven sequences with colours revolving around candy floss shades of pink, orange, blue, green, purple and beige in fabrics that were mainly chiffon, voile, viscose with touches of Lycra, the Araiya line titled White Verses Whisky was a world of 'A' line dresses, Capri pants, skirts and decorative Tees.
Detailing was with bits of leather as piping or trims on chiffon multi coloured embroidery and ribbons.
The Araiya silhouette was body hugging for Empire line dresses, skirts and tops. Asymmetric hemlines, circular embroidery in multi colours and some intricate motifs added to the dazzle of the collection.
Some of the eye catchers from the collection were the printed gathered dress with an embellished hemline in shades of blue in viscose, Lycra, a kimono style dress in blue chiffon and the finale line of beige and brown chiffon dresses, corset, skirts with mother of pearl embroidery on bodice, neck and hem with satin ribbon edging.
Arshiya has been creating collections that cater to the fun loving lifestyles of the young and famous and this collection will surely gladden their hearts.
