The carnival beautifully manifested the concept, "Think globally, act locally". Culture is no longer a monolithic and rigid entity. It is flexible and contains a mixture of mutually complementary elements.
The JFC designs came across as eclectic owing to their use of a mixture of materials and accessories. The lines of the clothing gave an impression of irregularity and frivolousness that captured the spirit of carnival.
JFC began From the dream to make Jember the First Fashion City in Indonesia by introducing / becoming an outlet for Indonesia”s & International cultures through clothings, accessories, dances & music, wich eventually broadens the horizons of the world fashion trends of our societies.
JFC initiates Economic Benefit as one of its main consideration/ concerns/main ideas to keep up with the rapid growth of fashion and tourism industry and to produce quality human resources in Fashion Design, Accessories, Event Organizing, Modelling, Music (singing), Broadcasting / Commucations (Presenter), and the list goes on from here. JFC will be the topic of discussion of International Seminar 22 Countries, held by ITB Bandung ( Bandung Institute Of technology ) entitled 'Jember'.
