Gunjan and Rahul presented a collection of very basic summer clothes for their label Sirali on third day of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW).
Titled An Artist's Journey the creations for women and men were in soft camel, faded blush pink, cinnamon, green, grey, tea stained yellow, and flame red for fabrics like corduroy, chiffon, stain, linen and an interesting wonder weave.
For ladies wear it was soft jackets, trousers, shirts some interesting flared shirts and long dresses.
Giving an emphasis to layering the duo had a four ensemble combination of organza bolero shirt, with silk hand painted tunic, corduroy Capris and a textured organza warp over skirt.
Twill appeared for stretch pants with a layered georgette top. But the silhouette that the pair concentrated on most was the swirl which appeared for tops, skirts and dresses in multicoloured scalloped panels.
Simple in form, yet striking were creations like the green swirl floor length dress with satin pants; green painted and textured swirl top, striped detailed pants with georgette painted tie tunic and a satin swirl with red textured stretched pants.
Men's wear had canvas jackets with tape detailing on shoulders and pockets while linen trousers were in a neutral shade of ochre or ecru.
Sirali's line could be ideal for some fast paced casual or formal hours for both sexes during the Spring/Summer 2007 season.
