Opening day of third Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo drew the spectators into the fantasy world as theatre products unveiled baby pink, mint green, mimosa and lavender designs with the collections based on 'feeling of bliss' theme.

Models looking like dolls and having white hair and red eyes displayed the designs on a track that looked like Hollywood musical.

Opening day collections were joined by Yasuhiro Mihara, who showcased his brand MIHARAYASUHIRO for the first time in four seasons.

Designer RITSUKO SHIRAHAMA added to the glamour as she displayed her chiffon dresses with metallic embroidery. Takeshi Mori's OBJETSTANDARD also received good reviews as her collections expressed modern Japanese concepts of 'wabi' and 'sabi' that described elegant rusticity with gold and silver leafed hemp and cotton material.
