Miss Vietnam Mai Phuong Thuy will unveil the depth of Vietnamese beauty during the 56th Miss World contest in Poland this month.
Following her success as Miss Vietnam 2006 this August, the 18-year-old Hanoi beauty is already on her way to the host city Gdansk in Poland.
The tallest-ever Miss Vietnam (1.79m) is fond of jogging, swimming, reading, listening to music, especially hip-hop and dance.
Thuy, a Rirut University scholarship recipient, relishes Vietnam's traditional delicacies of 'Pho' (noodle soup) and spring rolls.
Thuy will grace for the final contest on September 30 with the traditional Vietnamese ao dai, a tunic-like dress popular in Vietnam.
