Corporate sources explained that such events attract crème of celebrities and businessmen that are absolutely necessary for the companies.
PepsiCo's Aquafina, Olympus Corp., MAC Cosmetics and Cingular Wireless are among other sponsorors of this hyped event.
UPS has also set up its own tent in Bryant Park to stage 10 fairs displaying its upcoming collections, costing up to $50,000 and $100,000 per event.
