Rodriguez & Lepore rule the ramp at NY Fashion Week

Even though paparazzi for a while get distracted by the presence of celebrities, most of the photographers, stylists, editors and retailers have a keen eye on spring, 07 clothes at the New York Fashion Week.
They have not been disappointed with tons of mini dresses, swing coats, black and white colours combinations and light, billowy fabrics. The fashion week will be over on Friday with the collection of Bono, his wife Ali Hewson and eco-lover & designer Rogan.
Narciso Rodriguez's spring line was full of formfitting dresses and fiberglass and patent leather and he is very much a forward thinker.
Fiberglass chunks of red, gray and black were embroidered onto a tank dress and a red fiberglass breast place was front and centre.
Collection of Nanette Lepore was featuring a brighter palette compared to Olympus Fashion Week. She kept black as her main colour even as she mixed fair share of blue, green and chartreuse.
Her best outfit included a sky-blue beaded shift dress, an off-the-shoulder blouson mini dress in a geometric print and a black satin dress.
Her debut collection of printed, ballet slipper Keds sneakers was a nice complement to her youthful styles.
