MilanoVendeModa has moved up the traditional dates for its autumn edition: now the most complete and innovative women's prêt à porter showcase will be held in the fieramilanocity pavilions from September 22 to 25, 2006.
The event, which will present the spring/summer 2007 collections, is organized by EXPOCTS S.p.A and Unione del Commercio di Milano, in cooperation with the Milan Chamber of Commerce.
With this earlier date, now MilanoVendeModa will take place at the same time as the first weekend of prêt à porter fashion shows, and will also be held concurrently with MICAM and MIPEL.
The new dates were chosen to ensure that MilanoVendeModa takes place when many Italian and foreign visitors and buyers are in Milan, so they have a chance to see a complete assortment of clothing and accessories.
Another new entry is the 46….52 PluSize salon, held at the same time as MilanoVendeModa and organized in cooperation with Studio Casile & Casile. The objective of 46….52 PluSize is to present eighty fashion, lingerie, and beachwear collections in the plus size segment: thus, MilanoVendeModa continues to grow with a wider assortment of quality products.
The usual exhibition layout, with five sections devoted to everything in the world of women's fashions, has been confirmed. This edition, which will cover an area of 25,000 square meters and host 250 exhibitors and more than 300 spring/summer 2007 collections, will start with a fabulous area called 1.1, which abandons the classic expo format and has a hip, underground feel and a smoky London mood. This hotbed of urban trends will present innovative concepts and the latest styles.
