First time since the thin skinned model controversy has erupted, one of the most powerful men of the fashion arena, designer Giorgio Armani has hit out at stylists and media for the madness in fashion industry for them.
Armani was in London to host music show which had stars like Beyonce, 50 Cent and Bono launching a new fashion collection to support RED which is an initiative of U2 star Bono to raise fund for fighting AIDS in Africa.
Armani said that he had never wanted to parade girls who were thin-skinned and rather prefers the girls who show clothes in the best possible way. He spoke on the sidelines of one of the most anticipated event of fashion arena.
More than 50 models displayed the three traditional collections of Armani which included haute couture gem studded gowns, purple Armani suits and the baby doll dress which was from his younger line Emporio Armani.
Celebrities watching the show included Leonardo DiCaprio, singer Alicia Keys and actress Ashley Judd while Sean Penn and Penelope Cruz and singer Usher had sent their video messages.
