With two big shows at Fashion Week and then a night outing in Wellington when three of her staff members were victorious at World of Wearable Arts awards, Trelise Cooper is having a great time.

'The Love of Icarus', a big disc shaped dress consisting of at least 20,000 collar-stays designed by Rodney Leong, bagged the supreme award.

Best illumination illusion award was bagged by partners Tracey Smith and Chris Koole, while Andrew Trott was second in avant-garde.

After her outing Trelise rejoined work at Fashion Week's ending show, Westpac Red Collection, sponsored by Air New Zealand.

A mix-match fashion session exhibiting labels Zambesi, Liz Mitchell, Huffer, Adrienne Winkelmann and Trelise Cooper concluded this display by five designers to corporate viewers.
