Delhi round of four-city model hunt by Swedish vodka maker Absolut has chosen Yamini Sehgal to showcase a new clothes line by London based designer Ashish Gupta.
After selecting models from four cities, they will go to Mumbai for Gupta's show on October, 25. All the four selected will get two-year contract with Mumbai's Elite Model Management which will provide them the opportunity to launch themselves.
Siddharth Bannerjee, Managing Director of Kyndal India that promotes Absolut brand in India said that their label line has been made for those women who want more in their life.
He informed that label was launched two years ago to inspire and promote new talents in the industry where young fashion designers are subject to make limited edition piece which is taken from Absolute bottle.
Gupta an unknown commodity for India is famous in Britain where celebrities like Victoria Beckham, Jerry Hall Christina Aguilera, Kelly Osbourne and Sharon Stone have been his clients.
Gupta's designs are marked by complex details which includes delicate hand embroidery which is made in his own factory in India.
