Kingan Jones, a prime wearable and cohesive brand of Fashion Week 2006, presented a pretty collection of clothes exhibiting key trends for winter 2007 which surpassed designer classification. Chartreuse, violet, and accompanying blacks, navys and greys were main colours.

Patent leather trims, large buttons, ladies bows and pleating were fine details. Trapeze coat, large buttons, mini dresses resembling the 1960's were remade with ironical twists. Mini dresses were layered with rockabilly stovepipes and high buttoned necklines.

A ravishing black broderie anglaise dress with puff sleeves refreshed old memories of 70s naïve peasant chic, 60s Jackie Kennedy silhouette, Marie Antoinette shepherd dresses, and seemed to be an unmatched comfortable garment.

Kingan Jones is famous for smart application of fabric styles. So the broderie anglaise dress was succeeded on the ramp by another beautiful tunic layered with leggings and a turtleneck, which was another extraordinary combination of design purity and commercialism.
