Milan fashion week at new centre gets positive review

The Milan fashion week held at a new venue Milan fashion centre got positive response. Mario Boselli's National Fashion Chamber informed that the show which started on September, 23 and ended on October, 01 saw the presentation of 230 collections in 100 fashion shows.

It witnessed 89 presentations in showrooms and 44 shows on appointment. 50 out of 100 shows were held in Milan fashion centre from which 42 were held in internal rooms and 8 in the tents.

Milano Moda Donna (women's fashion show) had 20,000 people from the industry watching it with 2000 being journalists, photo-reporters and cameramen from 45 different countries.

The show reaffirmed the supremacy of Milan as the international capital of prêt-a-porter fashion. Even eight Chinese stylists exhibited their collections in the show which was a first timer.
