First show of Air New Zealand Fashion Week, Obi gave a glimpse of the other world with some wonderfully designed and prepared garments.
Obi show which was held on September 19, 2006, showed winter 2007 collection which had palate of greys, silvers, blues dirty creams and textures were properly utilized to create a wonderful wearable collection.
Models that were beautified by leaf motifs looked to have come straight from a forested landscape. Garment that stood out was a maxi wool cardi, overlarge and with a shawl collar which belted with leggings and boots providing stylish and sophisticated look for the mature age group.
One of other dresses that caught the attention was katsura maxi dress which was crafted from tooled leather and velvet sash which created glamorous look. The show as usual focused mainly on knitwear and the mature client's category.
