Sexy Salman Khan and charismatic Kareena Kapoor were jostled by media persons on their arrival at the openning of designer Purva Kothari's first jewellery show. Purva sells designs under Intrea brand, which is a joint venture between Purva and diamond trader Ketan Seth.
Media and guests went crazy as Salman and Kareena stepped into Roshanara Hall of Taj Palace, and Purva and her designs were backstage when reporters elbowed one another to capture the glimpse of the two celebrities.
Asked about his style statement, Salman replied that he wears an earring and a bracelet. Kareena was photo journos' delight looking ravishing in jeans and top, and replied to volleys of questions on fashion and films.
Kareena endorsed one of Purva's designs. She said she had a liking for jewellery, and some of her friends in Delhi were jewellery designers.
As the actors moved around, Purva's elegant jewellery simply got overshadowed on its debut.
