Hanoi International Trade Fair 2006 is set to open on October 6 and run through till October 11 at the Vietnam National Exhibition Center.
This annual event organized by Hanoi People's Committee in cooperation with other ministries and other agencies within the country.
However, scale of this year's event is much bigger than ever before as the capital city Hanoi is also hosting APEC 2006 summit.
So far, nearly 200 companies have registered participation at the event that would be organized in a vast outdoor area of 1,200 square meters with 300 stores.
Chief products on display include textile and garment, footwear, electronic, IT, machinery and technology, construction materials and furniture, healthcare services and banking.
Notably, about 20 stores will be occupied by international organizations and businesses participants.
