Fashion in Ukraine is not just limited to mere shirts display and folk garb but it is an event which is highly ambitious and well-organized production. Many young designers have made name for themselves.
The industry is still to blossom fully but has made itself quite visible. Head of Angel Studios, Angel is participating in the fashion week as well. She is the maker of Ukrainian designer boutique Shkaf.
Angel first started designing wedding dresses and then became head of a bridal store.She describes Ukrainian fashion industry as just born child looking to stand on its feet.
She laments the facts that designers use lot of hand embroidery which is good when they make the mark but they are not the most fashionable. She cautioned that designers must understand that embroidery and fashion is not the same thing.
Her designer boutique has shelves which are busting with clothes and accessories. The store is full of these items and they have been created by Ukraine's most talented designers.
