Trade fair in Cambodia to boost bilateral trade

Vietnam trade fair scheduled to be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from November, 20-24 will see the participation of more than 150 Vietnamese companies, informed HCMC Investment and Trade Promotion Center (ITPC).

Products which will be on display include various products belonging to sectors like chemicals, textile, garments, footwear, electric equipment etc. with the event expected to boost the Vietnamese products and services in Cambodia.

The bilateral trade between the two nations is expected to reach US$700-800 million which is an increase of 20 percent compared to previous year. Both countries have decided to enhance the trade figure up to US$2 billion by 2010.

ITPC and Vietnamese Trade Commission in Cambodia under the Ministry of Trade are jointly organising the trade fair.
