Having undergone examination and estimation, the 'Bright' brand cotton is honored as a 'famous brand in Chinese cotton market'. This cotton has been cultivated by the Seventh Agricultural Division in Xinjiang.
The district under the domination of the Seventh Agricultural Division is rich in hot and sunshine resources, especially adapting to cotton production. In recent years, the Division makes full use of the advantage of seed breeding by the Agricultural scientific research institute and one million mu (about 66,667 hectares) high quality cotton growing base.
They keep on scientific research and strive to meet the updating demand of textile industrial technique, meanwhile they guarantee the cotton to be precocious, high-quality, high productivity, and suiting for yarn spinning.
To insure the cotton quality, the Division makes huge investment every year into preparing cloth bag, cloth cap and cloth pocket for each picker, and train the pickers with picking standard and quality requirement before the picking season.
At the procuring and processing stages, the Division's 20 ginning factories carry on training courses for employees every year and adopt compulsive measures to prevent opposite fiber from getting into the factories.
In the last few years, the 'Bright' brand cotton has acquired 18 honors from the country and the municipality.
