Export Commodities Fair earns $34.06 bn

The 100th session of Chinese Export Commodities Fair officially closed on October 30. This Fair represents the biggest scale in its history, which ran 16 days in total from October 15 to 30.

The total turnover reached US $34.06 billion, setting a historical record, with nearly 2 billion overseas visitors from 212 countries and regions, up 1.4 percent from the Spring Fair and 8.7 percent from last Autumn Fair.

In the current Fair, southeast provinces are still the main trading forces. Guangdong, Zhejiang and Jiangshu concluded trading turnovers of $8.85 billion, $4.85 billion and $3.36 billion, respectively, with the combination accounting for 50.1 percent of the total transaction amount from the Fair.

Meanwhile the dealings of Qinghai, Henan, Anhui and Shanxi provinces increased 69.7, 52.7, 51.9 and 51 percent, respectively.
