Fashion designer Narendra Kumar showcased his Spring/Summer Collection 2007 at Lakme Fashion Week, yesterday, featuring a blend of traditional and contemporary forms.
This collection offers men's wear emphasizing intricate embroidery and delicate batik styles on shirts, while combining them with trendy trousers embellished with patch pockets and shiny zippers.
The elaborately floral printed baggy tops and body-hugging pants and capris provided the brush of feminine touch to the macho attire.
The hunky John Abraham walked the ramp for Narendra wearing a white linen-suit with the girlfriend Bipasha Basu cheering in the audience.
Another major event that stirred the viewers was the Vikram Phadnis show where the sensual Riya Sen awed everyone flaunting an exotic creation.
It was a star studded audience complete with the likes of Celina Jaitely, Fardeen Khan, Simone Tata Priyanka Chopra Pooja Bedi Emraan Hashmi Neha Dhupia Azharuddin and Sangeeta Bijlani.
Meanwhile, Wednesday also seems to be a promising day with shows by South African designers Clive Rundle and Sun Goddess and domestic artists Wendell Rodericks, Abhishek Dutta, Anupama Dayal, Anand Kabra, Nandita Mahtani and Surily Goel all lined up.
