In ABN Amro fashion show, designers Snehasish Bhattacharya and Abhishek Dutta showcased their respective collections in five themes.

Mughal theme unveiled by Snehasish comprised an elegant collection of saris, lehngas, sherwanis and kurta-pyjamas with plenty of white with tonal embroidery and flashes of gold and brighter hues.

Next, Abhishek displayed British Influence with a blending line of dresses and skirts. The silhouettes featured knee-length dresses with high waistlines, often empire lines. Colours were duller — pinks and lavender with touches of turquoise.

Again Snehasish appeared to offer Khadi Revolution, which included Saris and kurta-pyjamas with touches of kantha work, applique and other threadwork. Colours were muted — ashes, browns, whites, dull reds and blacks.

In his Babus and Bibis collection, Snehasish unfurled half-and-half saris in combinations like white and red, white and black, red and black. Men's wear collection included kurtas in brighter bases like orange and turquoise boasting elaborate embroidery, teamed with churidars, dhotis and chaddars.

At last, Abhishek Dutta signed off the show with Bohemian Street look, a collection boasting skirts — knee-length, calf-length, layered, asymmetrical, flared minis, cropped jackets, ruched capris, structured tops, men's jackets and lots of denim.
