Recently, Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) licensed Song Hong Garment Co. and Ninomax to invest in constructing their showrooms and fashion centers overseas, official sources from MPI said.
Reportedly, Ninomax is allowed to in $950,000 into establishing fashion showroom in the United States of America and Song Hong Garment Co. to spend VND 4.8 billion or $300,000 building a center of garment goods promotion and showrooms in Hong Kong.
In the same line, Vietnam Textile and Apparel Group (Vinatex) has been recently planning to set up a big center in Europe functioning to promote and distribute their textile and apparel goods there.
It was known last month that Hanoi–based T&T Co. has been already licensed to open apparel plant in Angola.
