The pompous fashion designer, JJ Valaya, is all set to present his Fall / Winter Collection 2006-07 at Dubai event, backed by Appella Solid Gold Watches, Altearah color perfumes and oils and INDIORO jewellery, this Saturday, November 11.
Collection is inspired by the rich war history in different nations from fabled warrior women to Japanese Samurais.
'To go back to something structured, strong, and culturally inspired, to strip back on mere predictable simplicity…to worship detail. But, even though we are talking about culture again and again, it cannot be jaded and boring…the very spirit of fashion demands fun in its own unique way.”, explains Valaya.
Designer uses wide range of pure and blend fabrics, almost everything from lycra to silk to laces georgettes, velvets and brocades.
The Beach Hotel area, Jumeirah, venue for this show, also houses Valaya's first ever overseas exclusive boutique launched in 2004.
