A new private television channel Arabian Watches and Jewellery TV (AWJ TV) is being launched by Jewellery Arabia 2006 exhibition organizers for the event, which will give live broadcast from Tuesday to Saturday.
Official host for the channel is Dania Khatib, famous Lebanese TV celebrity and singer, who will conduct live interviews with participants and guests from a studio in the venue during this event.
Programmes will be broadcast on several screens fixed all around the venue, which is Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Business viewpoints, expert's remarks, news and interviews of senior industry professionals will be covered by the channel.
A show for ladies only will be organized between 10 am and 1 pm on November 9, 2006.
AWJ TV will be including regular live programmes on a prime and far reaching TV station across the Middle East in coming times.
Jewellery makers, importers, traders, private investors, collectors, wholesalers and retailers can visit the exhibition daily from 4 to 10 in the evening.
Exhibition is patronized by Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa. Over 500 participants from 28 nations are to display their designs here and it is anticipated that 35,000 people will attend the event.
