Jamshedpur, the steel city of India, is about to witness many colourful festivities, during this winter.

One of them is organised by the Marwari Mahila Manch at the United Club called Sharad Mela, an annual fête for the Rajasthani people settled in steel city. Artistes from Jodhpur are putting up handicraft items and sarees with tie-and-dye and block prints and lac bangles at this exhibition.

Another location of attraction is G-Town grounds in Bistupur where New India Art and Craft Festival will continue till November 13. This is another spot for colourful merriment. The place displays a selection of dress items including Gujarati cotton material, traditional Rajasthani stuff, Kashmiri woollens and designer kurtas for men and women.

Jewellery and traditional Punjabi costumes, bedspreads from Haryana, and a wide variety of leather items from Agra are decorating the stalls here.

People can experience an array of traditional skirts to pickles and churans to footwear at one place.
